Frost Oil
Difficulty:
Journeyman alchemy. While alchemy trainers do not teach this recipe is classes, copies of it can be bought in markets or from alchemists in Hillsbrad Foothills. Goblins are known to trade the rare recipe for a sum of gold.
You Will Need:
Four young hops of Khadgar's Whisker, before they have flowered.
One Dragonsteeth leaf.
One wide-mouthed jar.
One crystal vial, for bottling.
A neutral oil such as fish oil or olive oil.
Personal protection equipment. Gloves, goggles, mask, close-toed shoes, and appropriate labwear.
Recipe:
To brew a vial of Frost Oil, one must first gather the necessary ingredients: four mature hops of Khadgar's Whisker and a single leaf of Dragonsteeth.
Khadgar's Whisker, a grass-like herb with clustered olive green shoots, bears conical, papery hops at the ends of each mature stalk. These hops must be carefully harvested before the plant flowers.
Dragonsteeth, in contrast, is a sage herb imbued with properties of both flame and frost. This sage herb must be asked for permission before plucking its leaves; if amenable, it will drop its leaves to the ground for collection. Any attempt to forcefully remove the leaves will result in a painful, biting grip as the plant folds two leaves inward. Once collected, the reddish portion of the Dragonsteeth leaves will turn waxy and translucent within minutes or hours.
To begin the brewing process, the four Khadgar's Whisker hops must be crushed together with a neutral oil such as fish oil or olive oil until a smooth, consistent paste forms. This mixture is then frozen solid in a jar. Only once ready to add the Dragonsteeth should the jar be thawed.
Holding the Dragonsteeth leaf by its silver end, carefully light the red tip aflame with a match. As the plant material melts like candle wax from red to silver, immediately plunge the silver end into the thawed oil mixture. The oil will ignite for a moment with red flame, but do not be alarmed. This step is natural to the process. When the flame dies down, the silver leaf will smoke and disintegrate to ash, infusing into the oil and transforming it into Frost Oil.
Results & Effects
Frost Oil is a captivating substance, both in its striking visual appearance and in the potent elemental effects it imbues upon weapons. This light blue oil possesses a thick, viscous consistency, clinging to any surface it contacts. The pungent aroma of menthol emanates strongly from Frost Oil, a crisp and biting scent that evokes the very essence of winter's chill.
A weapon coated with this oil takes on an almost mystical appearance, as a layer of shimmering frost forms along the length of the blade or bludgeon, transforming it into an implement of primal cold. When such a weapon strikes true, the power of Frost Oil is unleashed, inflicting not merely the expected wound, but also the cruel bite of frostbite that rapidly numbs and blackens flesh. Victims struck by a Frost Oil-enhanced weapon often suffer debilitating cold damage that lingers long after the initial trauma of the blow.
In the hands of a skilled combatant, a weapon anointed with Frost Oil becomes a fearsome instrument of elemental power, capable of chilling the very blood in an opponent's veins and sapping their strength with each strike.

Cloud-based ERP and Business- Right Time to Migrate is Now
Tumblr media
Many businesses rely on SAP Business One (SAP B1) to optimize their workflows and increase operational efficiency. However, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with diverse business models require more advanced solutions to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced environment. Cloud technology can address this need, and the SAP Business One Cloud solution offers numerous benefits, giving businesses an edge over competitors.
In this article, we will explore the importance of cloud-based SAP Business One and key factors to consider before migrating your existing SAP B1 to the cloud. Let's begin by understanding the concept of cloud-based ERP.
Importance of Moving On-Premise SAP B1 to the Cloud
A cloud-powered ERP solution differs from an on-premise one in that it doesn’t require any hardware or software installation. As a managed cloud solution, it provides seamless access from anywhere, anytime, as long as there is an internet connection. SAP Business One Cloud is an example of such a cloud ERP solution.
In today’s environment, where digital transformation is key to success, transitioning to a cloud-based solution is a strategic decision for businesses. Migrating your on-premise SAP B1 to the cloud offers benefits such as scalability, agility, and flexibility, all at a lower cost.
For many SMBs and startups, this cloud-based solution helps reduce costs and enhances productivity through the power of cloud technology. However, it's essential to consider several factors during SAP Business One Cloud migration to fully leverage these benefits. Let’s look at these factors before outlining the step-by-step guide for migrating your SAP B1 system to the cloud.
Key Considerations Before Migrating to SAP Business One Cloud
SAP Business One Cloud can provide significant advantages for forward-looking SMEs. However, migrating your existing SAP B1 to the cloud is a complex process with many factors to consider. When deciding to migrate to SAP Business One Cloud, keep the following factors in mind:
1. Cost of Ownership
This is one of the most crucial factors, whether you're deploying SAP B1 to the cloud or migrating your current ERP. Cloud-based SAP Business One requires monthly subscription fees for access to licenses. However, this cost is much lower than that of on-premise solutions, which demand expensive in-house infrastructure and continuous maintenance.
2. Implementation Time
Implementing an on-premise SAP Business One ERP can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Many small and mid-sized businesses find this process cumbersome and time-consuming. Cloud migration is generally quicker and more efficient. A trusted managed cloud services provider can handle the migration process with minimal disruption and in less time.
3. Collaboration and Accessibility
With remote or hybrid working becoming the norm post-pandemic, it’s essential to ensure the cloud-based ERP is easily accessible for remote teams. The SAP B1 Cloud should be available to users anywhere, via the internet. Additionally, it should support seamless collaboration between different teams, no matter their location.
4. Reliability of Provider
The reliability of your cloud service provider is a critical factor. Many cloud providers offer cloud migration services, but it’s vital to choose a trusted and reputable one. Understand the terms of maintenance, upgrades, and technical support to ensure minimal disruptions during your SAP B1 migration to the cloud.
Step-by-Step Guide to Migrate Your Existing SAP B1 to the Cloud
SAP Business One Cloud is a popular solution for small and mid-sized businesses. Regardless of the industry, businesses can benefit from a cloud-based ERP solution by migrating their on-premise SAP B1. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing the migration process effectively:
Step 1: Assess Existing Environment
Before initiating the migration, it’s crucial to evaluate your current setup and business needs. Examine dependencies, customizations, goals, and integrations with the help of a cloud service provider. This will help you identify potential challenges and ensure a smooth transition from on-premise to the cloud.
Step 2: Choose the Right Plan
Managed cloud providers offer various plans to meet different business needs. You’ll need to select a plan that aligns with your company’s size, goals, and performance requirements. Consider factors such as data storage, scalability, and processing power when choosing a package.
Step 3: Backup and Data Storage
During the migration process, protecting corporate data is vital. Make sure to back up your on-premise SAP B1 data to prevent any data loss or corruption during the migration. Using advanced migration tools can help ensure a seamless transfer and minimize downtime while maintaining data integrity.
Step 4: Application and Database Migration
The next step is migrating your SAP Business One application and databases to the cloud server. A technical team from your cloud service provider can assist in ensuring a secure and efficient migration. Once the transfer is complete, validate the functionality of your SAP B1 application in the new cloud environment.
Step 5: Integration and Performance Testing
Thoroughly test all integrations with other business applications and processes to ensure seamless connectivity in the cloud-driven environment. Extensive testing will help identify and resolve compatibility issues, ensuring uninterrupted workflows and synchronized data.
Step 6: User Training and Adoption
Prepare your team for the transition by providing comprehensive training on the new cloud-based environment. This will help users familiarize themselves with the enhanced features, accessibility, and collaboration tools available in the cloud.
Step 7: Go Live and Monitoring
Coordinate with your cloud provider’s support team to finalize the process and go live. Implement robust monitoring tools to track system performance, identify issues, and ensure the continued optimization of your SAP Business One application in the cloud.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your migration process is successful, allowing your business to unlock the full potential of a cloud-based SAP B1 solution.
Conclusion
Migrating your existing SAP Business One on-premise solution to the cloud can be a complex process, but with the right strategy and approach, it can bring substantial benefits to your business. reversed curse technique expansion //
shoko's canon / existing cursed technique is unique in the sense that not only is she able to convert cursed energy into positive energy and heal herself, but she's able to convert this into output that heals others. it's said to be a rare technique within the jujutsu world of sorcery.
to further implement that, i always think it's interesting when a character has an expansion to an ability that comes with a cost or even a detriment to the self. ( also i love the idea that healers are also some of the most powerful people since they often get shunted if they're not combatants. this isn't precisely the case with shoko as she is valued and highly important in-world, but i think this gives her more a specific conflict. )
so, getting into it --- it's mentioned that shoko's ability is powerful enough to restore limbs and bring someone back from the brink of death.
as a step up from that ability, my portrayal of shoko will also be capable of bringing someone back from the dead. however, it takes an immense amount of energy. it tires her out and it's a gradual process rather than an immediate restoration, as well as a limit. i'll do it point by point to condense the information :
capabilities of reversed curse technique: resurrection //
able to restore someone's life / resurrect them from death depending on how grievous the injury is, is how much time it would take to make a full recovery. it could start with the individual in a coma before coming to. - able to borrow / sap another's cursed energy in order to output more into the method, though that could considerably weaken the person borrowed from. so, the technique in this way becomes a two way input > output. - as a technique is also a curse used to undo / defeat another curse, by using something so invasive and powerful on another person, the user effectively binds themselves to whomever they resurrected. ( i need to explore more into this to understand for myself how i see it working, but they're tethered together now for as long as shoko lives. if she dies, the person will also die. )
possible complications + cost //
as it's a very complicated technique that takes an immense amount of energy and focus, there could be an issue with the restoration of memory, long term and short term, and even muscle memory. these could gradually return or not at all. any kind of restoration would require regular output and attention; like continuous care until the fullest recovery is made. - intense fatigue on the user, which can result in being ill and weak over an extended amount of time. which would then put a damper on the user being able to heal others should it be needed. since the resurrected individual is bound to her, if she dies, they will also gradually weaken and die as well. it's not immediate but rather something that happens over time, but they will feel the loss of her tether to them. - the user has the ability to end the other's life at any point in time by unbinding the curse. ( this is something shoko doesn't know how to do yet in the event that she does resurrect someone. ) there is no guarantee that this technique works. it's honestly a hit or miss.
limits //
the user can only resurrect one person at a time within a certain time frame. ex. shoko can't resurrect two people back to back within the same day or maybe even within the same month. again, it takes an immense amount of energy and continued output depending. she could progress to that level (which would make her op af, which i don't care i love her but yeah!), but not yet.
also depends on how long they've been dead for. again, could progress to a level where she could resurrect someone who's been dead for centuries. but, that will take a WHILE to progress to. for now, it's freshly dead or maybe within the day. beyond that is no guarantee.

Theme: Cream
Setting: The Archive
\Resonance: [STABLE] \Attunement: [MEDIUM] \Variance: [LOW] \Begin: Y A book titled "101 uses for dragon" written by [____] and from initiality [____]. The chosen page today, as all others are misaligned, is the recipe for "dragon's milk." A relatively simple concoction provided one can find the ingredients. Let us begin the transcription.
"Ah dragon's milk. A treat for all ages really, even if some [____] want to think they're too "ascended" for it nowadays! Back when I was just a wee sprot it was always so nice to go to the ma's house, pull up a chair with some nice and bad friends, and help them make the dish. Of course some of youse reading this might gawk at letting any sort of sprot, finling, or todder around such a potentially dangerous dish but that's just how it was back then. The taste of ichor really did add to the flavor, ha, ha! You're free to keep it out of this version of the recipe though. I've gone through extensive research and brainplumbing to acquire the simplest, most pure version for y'all to try for yourself. Now let's stop the gabbing and get to it."
"Keep a pot of water at 180 decins exact for at least 30 tin. The temperature will burn out any spiritual impurities in the water. Of course if you can get your hands on a few salvos of already clarified water feel free to use that but do put it on the heat for a little to help with the emulsion. Next you'll need to take 25 sR (Salve-ratio for those who don't know. Check the conversions at the beginning of the book for help!) of tonic sap and put that on the heat as well. The heat doesn't need to be exact but bubbles do need to form on the surface of the mash! If you don't have two heating implements (I know the difficulties) just be sure to stir the sap for the entire time the water is attaining clarity. That should provide enough stimulation to get what we want out of the sap."
"While you wait (if you can take your eyes off the water that is!) you can prepare a few other ingredients as well. Since this will be a bare bones version of dragon's milk you won't need to get anything especially difficult like duck's hoof or carmon. We'll save those for the other version later in this book! No all you'll need is a bag of wrot. Not even the whole bag. Just 5 caches from it. Whisk lightly until fully dusted then set aside. Next you'll need 1 sprig of fallila. You don't need to do anything other than leave it out to get ripe while we prepare everything else."
"Once the water and sap are ready mix them together into a separate pot so you don't contaminate either with impurities. Toss the fallila and wrot inside. Now it's time for the most important ingredient. 3 shedscales from a dragon. The exact variety won't matter much for the actual baking but will drastically change the flavor profile. For a more tart taste, go with any color from ochre to crimson. For something more "refreshing", a cerulean scale does wonders. Don't use any scale below 4 lums without treating it first or you'll need some extra steps from the more advanced recipe later in the book!"
"Preparing yourself mentally, toss the scale into the mix and quickly cover up the pot. If you have latches, use them to keep it closed. If not, well, that's why I always ate with friends when I was younger, ha, ha! No matter what do not remove the lid until the activity in the pot achieves a more mellow burbling rather than the frantic thrashing it will be doing. This should, on average, take only 5 tin but it can take longer. Once it's died down, go fetch a large bowl (We used to use the one for hopgrass) and pour the now finished dragon's milk inside. Feel free to eat with just a spoon but I've become partial to using it as a dip. Just be sure the dragon's milk doesn't bite you while you do! Now onto our next tasty treat."
What drivel. Honestly I don't understand the curiosity with eating. I've never done it and I'm fine.

03: Plants, Ponds, Petals, Pebbles, and Privilege
This week, I will be discussing the role privilege plays in nature interpretation. While at first glance, one may (naively) think, ‘Well, we can all interpret nature. Just step outside!’ there is more than meets the eye. My understanding of privilege is that it is a special advantage that makes opportunities more easily available for specific persons; more often than not, individuals are born with a certain level of privilege. Various details of an individual play into privilege; some of the more prevailing aspects (but not limited to) include culture, gender identity, race, and socioeconomic status.
For society to bridge the gap between more privileged and less privileged, at an absolute minimum, we as individuals should recognize the attributes and opportunities we have access to. In other words, as Peggy McIntosh may say, we should unpack our invisible backpacks. That is, we carry a weightless and ‘invisible’ backpack that gives access to opportunities; the irony being the backpack is by no means invisible (Hooykaas, 2024). Reflecting on my ‘invisible’ backpack, I am a white, middle-class, English-speaking university student with Canadian citizenship. As a result of my backpack, I have had opportunities that are not remotely equally available to everyone.
I believe a pertinent privilege, and thus also a barrier, that plays into nature interpretation stems from one’s socioeconomic status. Access to education, technology, and transportation are all aspects that would allow for preferable nature interpretation. However, these all require a level of income that can be spent on recreational purposes, which we all do not have. As a result, people who have lower socioeconomic status will be less likely to participate; this is often called the Marginality Theory (Beck et al., 2018). As some of us consider a career in nature interpretation, moreover as our generation will eventually be the majority of working age, we must do what we can to reduce such economic barriers. For example, in the case of providing nature interpretation, we should consider providing transportation, or better yet, bringing nature interpretation to people where they can learn about their local environment (Beck et al., 2018).
One’s physical status is another significant privilege, particularly to nature interpretation. Do you have able legs that can walk you through the intricate and sometimes harsh environments on our planet? Do you have able eyes that allow you to see the detailed aesthetics of nature while avoiding the potential harms of large bodies of water and coyote interactions? Can you hear the woodpeckers pecking? Can you smell the often distinct sweetness of sap in pine trees? I fortunately can say yes to each of these questions, however I can imagine that without having these physical abilities, an individual's ability to interpret nature would lessen. Again, as some of us consider a career in nature interpretation, such privileges should be taken into consideration. For instance, there could be more implementation of nature interpretation for people who are blind, including in-depth descriptions and more integration of touching features such as leaves, sand, flowers, and more.
Thanks for tuning in this week!

Streamlining IT Service Management: A Review of ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio
Tumblr media
I recently implemented the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio digital software into my IT department, and it has revolutionized the way we manage IT services. For years, our ITSM processes relied on a patchwork of outdated documents and tribal knowledge. This led to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and ultimately, frustrated employees and customers. The ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio has transformed our approach to ITSM, bringing much-needed structure and clarity to our operations.
Pre-Built Library Saves Time and Ensures Consistency
One of the biggest advantages of this software is the pre-built library of ITSM process templates specific to SAP Signavio. These templates provide a strong foundation for our core IT services, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management. The pre-built nature saved us countless hours compared to building these processes from scratch. Furthermore, the library ensures consistency across all our IT service offerings, eliminating the risk of variations that could lead to confusion or errors.
Visual Process Modelling for Improved Understanding
The software utilizes a visual process modelling approach, which has been a game-changer for our team. Complex workflows are depicted through clear diagrams that showcase the sequence of steps, decision points, and responsible roles. This visual format makes it easy for everyone, regardless of technical expertise, to understand how IT services are delivered. This fosters better collaboration between IT staff and other departments, as everyone has a clear picture of how their requests are handled.
Customization Options for Tailored Processes
While the pre-built library provides a solid starting point, the software also allows for customization. We can easily adapt the templates to reflect our specific IT environment and service offerings. This flexibility ensures that the processes we implement are truly tailored to our unique needs. Additionally, the software allows us to document best practices and service level agreements (SLAs) directly within the process models, providing a central repository for all relevant information.
Integration with SAP Signavio for Seamless Workflow
For organizations already using SAP Signavio, the ITSM Prozessbibliothek offers a seamless integration. The pre-built templates are designed to work flawlessly within the SAP Signavio environment, eliminating the need for data migration or complex integrations. This streamlines the process of implementing and managing ITSM processes, allowing us to leverage the existing capabilities of SAP Signavio.
Enhanced Collaboration and Improved Efficiency
Since implementing the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio, we've witnessed a significant improvement in collaboration and efficiency within our IT department. The clear and consistent processes have empowered our staff to handle service requests more effectively. Additionally, the software has facilitated better communication with end-users, as they now have a clear understanding of how IT services are delivered. Overall, this has resulted in a noticeable reduction in service resolution times and a more streamlined IT service experience.
In conclusion, the ITSM Prozessbibliothek deutsch für SAP Signavio is an invaluable tool for any organization looking to streamline their IT service management processes. The combination of pre-built templates, visual process modelling, and SAP Signavio integration makes it a powerful solution for improving efficiency, communication, and overall IT service delivery.pen_sparktunesharemore_vert

5 Must-Know Tips Before Enrolling in the Best SAP FICO Training Institutes in Bangalore
If you’re planning to kickstart a rewarding career in the world of SAP, enrolling in one of the best SAP FICO training institutes in Bangalore is a smart move. SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) is one of the most in-demand modules in the SAP ecosystem, especially for those aiming for careers in finance, accounting, and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
Bangalore, often referred to as India’s Silicon Valley, has become a hotspot for IT training and professional development. The city hosts numerous SAP training centers, but knowing which one to choose — and what to consider before enrolling — can make all the difference in your learning journey.
In this blog, we’ll guide you through five essential tips you should keep in mind before enrolling in any SAP FICO training institute in Bangalore, with a focus on how PMSAP Technologies stands out as a trusted training partner.
1. Understand Your Career Goals and Choose the Right SAP Module
Before diving into training, take a step back and understand what you really want out of your SAP journey. Are you from a finance background and looking to upskill? Or are you switching careers from another domain?
The SAP ecosystem offers several modules, but FICO is ideal if your interest lies in financial accounting, reporting, and internal cost tracking. However, if you're aiming for a broader ERP scope, consider modules like:
SAP S/4HANA MM (Materials Management) for procurement and inventory functions
SAP S/4HANA SD (Sales and Distribution) for managing sales processes and customer distribution
At PMSAP Technologies, you’ll find comprehensive courses across SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA MM, and SAP S/4HANA SD, designed for different career paths. Their counselors help you identify the module that aligns best with your background and goals — making it easier to choose the right learning track from day one.
2. Check the Institute’s Credibility and Trainer Expertise
SAP training is a significant investment — both financially and in terms of time. That’s why it’s essential to verify the institute’s credibility and the qualifications of its trainers.
Look for:
Certified trainers with real-time industry experience
Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
Ability to simplify complex concepts with case studies
At PMSAP Technologies, trainers are not just certified but also have years of hands-on experience working with global SAP implementations. Their training is focused on practical learning, where you don’t just memorize functions — you understand how SAP works in real business scenarios.
This level of trainer quality ensures that you’re not only ready for certification exams but also equipped to face real-world SAP challenges in any organization.
3. Ensure Real-Time Project Exposure and Practical Labs
One of the most common complaints learners have after completing an SAP course is a lack of confidence when it comes to real-time applications. This often happens because many training institutes focus only on theoretical knowledge.
The best SAP training includes:
Live project experience
Access to SAP S/4HANA live servers
Real-world scenarios for FICO, MM, and SD modules
Problem-solving exercises similar to what you’d face on the job
PMSAP Technologies provides extensive hands-on practice, where students get access to SAP’s live system environments for S/4HANA. Whether it’s configuring a chart of accounts in FICO, managing material data in MM, or processing sales orders in SD — you learn by doing.
This practical exposure is a game-changer for learners who want to stand out in job interviews and hit the ground running in their SAP careers.
4. Ask About Certification Preparation and Job Support
Getting trained is one thing. But clearing certification exams and landing a job are the real goals for most learners. That’s why the institute you choose should offer complete support — not just classroom training.
Here’s what you should look for:
SAP Global Certification exam preparation
Mock tests and interview preparation
Resume building and LinkedIn optimization
Placement assistance with real job leads
PMSAP Technologies goes beyond basic training. They offer dedicated support for SAP certification exams, along with career guidance and job interview training. From crafting your first SAP-specific resume to helping you prepare for interviews with mock Q&A sessions, their support team stays with you until you succeed.
And with strong industry connections, PMSAP also brings placement opportunities to your doorstep — a crucial feature that many other institutes lack.
5. Evaluate Course Structure, Flexibility, and Reviews
Finally, consider how the course is structured. Everyone has different learning needs. Some prefer weekend batches, while others go for fast-track or online options. The best institutes offer flexibility without compromising quality.
Here’s what to check:
Batch options: weekday/weekend, online/offline
Recorded sessions for revision
Structured syllabus aligned with SAP certification
Reviews and testimonials from past students
PMSAP Technologies offers both online and classroom training in Bangalore with flexible schedules, making it easy for both working professionals and full-time students to manage. They also provide access to recorded sessions, so you never miss a class.
What sets them apart further is their transparent feedback system. You can find genuine reviews from past students who have successfully transitioned into SAP careers after training at PMSAP. These reviews are a testament to their commitment to quality and learner success.

Why Security Optimization is so important?
Tumblr media
Security Optimization as a Service Portfolio is the right solution to prevent a full downtime and costly security incidents by analyzing high-risk violations and taking security measures proactively.
Read through this Portfolio article from SAP that details what it can do for you.
By using Security Optimization Service, you can avoid business interruptions and ensure that the security aspect of SAP solutions is managed properly, reducing risk. As a result of this service, you will be able to concentrate on your daily business requirements instead of spending time handling the complexities of security maintenance. The advantages are:
Decrease the risk of a system intrusion
Ensure the confidentiality of your business data
Ensure the authenticity of your users
Substantially reduce the risk of costly downtime due to wrong user interaction
Where to start?
The EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) report is the most comprehensive snapshot of your SAP systems. The Security section gives you a detailed analysis, more accurate information to keep your SAP systems protected along with the root cause analysis of various findings.
Refer to the SAP note # 863362 to know more about the security checks in the EWA report. Incase if the EWA report generation is not yet configured, refer to SAP note # 2282944 (EarlyWatch Alert: Solution Manager 7.2 how to set up/configure EWA reports or add email recipients) that details the steps to configure.
Should you need help setting up the Solution Manager, our experts can create a SolMan system and set up the EWA configuration in just 10 to 15 days.
Is EarlyWatch (EWA) report itself is enough?
Certainly not. While EWA gives you a snapshot of your system, Solution Manager has lot many features that could help you to safeguard your SAP system. Experts recommend implementing additional tools like the Security Optimization Service, System Recommendations configuration in Solution Manager, or Change Diagnostics and Configuration Validation, also called as E2E Change Analysis and Change Reporting and Configuration Validation in Solution Manager.
These tools can be configured easily that adds an additional layer of security.
Great. Will this be sufficient for me to keep my system secure?
May be not. No solution can give you 100% guarantee. Monitoring the systems against the Security baseline is much important and is a continuous activity. In addition to utilizing the standard Security baselines by SAP, experts recommend to use additional applications such as SAP GRC Process Control, Risk Management etc.,
ToggleNow boasts an easy-to-use reporting application called GAMS360. It provides 100+ baseline reports for review, so it’s easy to spot problems as they arise. Further, the system trigger alerts for immediate review by the system owners/controllers.
Can these tools help me to protect my SAP systems completely?
Are these tools capable enough to detect and stop all sorts of risks associated with my SAP systems?
There are a variety of ways to protect your SAP systems. As mentioned, no single tool/product can make your SAP system free from risks. Incase if you have an authorization setup built a decade ago, you may also need to consider an SAP Security Engagement which will provide you with an expert-guided analysis and approach for your SAP landscape.
ToggleNow enables its customers to leverage their business processes and streamline their security measures as part of the SAP Digital Transformation program.
One that will help you to discover the ASIS and derive a TOBE Roadmap. Second, that will identify the various processes where automation can be implemented quickly.
We take the EarlyWatch report as the baseline and also run various scripts to extract the current status of the system. This will be our starting point to offer detailed services mainly around Security Optimization.
Combining the results of the initial discovery, the security policy of the company, and the subject matter expertise, we define the SAP Security Baseline and make the necessary tweaks in the application, and the tools selected.
What else is required?
Well, there is no big list. We additionally recommend our customers to “Stay clean” and “Stay in-compliant” which is possible with the use of the right GRC solutions.
In case if you have SAP GRC in place, it is of utmost importance to Upgrade the SAP GRC version to the latest and utilizes all the features such as User Access Review, SoD Review, Firefighter ID review, and so on.
